The company was created because of an ongoing need for competitive and reliable truck load service in the southern Indiana area. As time passed the company grew to not only serve the Corydon, IN area, but also metro Louisville, KY. In the fall of 2001 RVT relocated to New Albany, IN just across the Ohio river from Louisville, KY. This enabled the company to provide an even higher level of service and quicker response time to its partners in the Louisville, KY area. RVT's primary focus is to service truckload markets in the South, Southeast, Southwest and Midwest regions of the country. Staying focused on our traffic lanes and core business's has allowed RVT to maintain a reputation of dependable and cost effective service. As a result of that reputation and commitment to service, Hoosier Freight Corporation was created in 1990. This company was started to handle the increased demand from our customers to manage more of their shipments. HFC utilizes a large group of partner carriers to handle increased volume from our customers during their peak shipping season, or for special promotions.
